Hi Guys,

I have completed my bachelor degree in engineering from Mumbai University. Sem 3,4,5,6 were conducted by college(not an autonomous college) and Sem 1,2,7,8 were conducted from Mumbai Univeristy. I am really confused regarding which all documents need to be sent to WES. Should i get separate transcript from Mumbai Univeristy and College? Do the college transcripts need to attested by Mumbai Univeristy? Should all the documents be sent in one envelop with the seal and stamp of Mumbai Univeristy?

Kindly help with the entire procedure.

Thanks

Mark sheets for years 1 and 2 of your study program (semesters 1-4) can be issued and attested by the University of Mumbai or the college you attended. Mark sheets representing year 3 must be issued and attested by the University of Mumbai.

B.Eng.
Mark sheets representing years 1 and 4 of your study must be issued and attested by the University of Mumbai. Mark sheets for years 2 and 3 of your study program (semesters 3-6) can be issued and attested by the University of Mumbai or the college you attended.

B.Arch.
Mark sheets for years 1 and 2 of your study program (semesters 1-4) can be issued and attested by the University of Mumbai or the college you attended. Mark sheets representing years 3, 4, and 5 (semesters 5-10) must be issued and attested by the University of Mumbai.

For all other degrees earned through the University of Mumbai
Marks sheets for all years of study must be issued and attested by the University of Mumbai or the autonomous college you attended.

You need to take a copy of all your mark sheets to Churchgate to get a final transcript. Once you have applied, UM will give you the transcripts in 20 days.

so the following documents needs to be attested by Mumbai University:
1.Degree Certificate/Convocation
2.Transcripts from College

and the following documents be sent in a single envelope(sealed and signed by MU) :
1.Degree Certificate(attested by MU)
2.College transcripts(attested by MU)-for sem 3,4,5,6
3.MU transcripts-for sem 1,2,7,8

This is my understanding for the documents that need to be sent with the appropriate institution's attestation. Do correct me if im wrong in any way or if i am missing anything

Should the sealed envelope that contains marksheet and transcript attested by college be sent separately or should it be sent inside the envelope ( that is sealed by MU which contains degree certificate, transcript and marksheet attested by MU) , since the rules hav changed since Dec 2018?
Basically how should the sealed envelope given by college be sent to WES ?

It can be either.

It can be either.
Before Dec 2018, a friend of mine sent it in this
format :
Envelope1(sealed by college): given by college which contains transcript and colg attested marksheet
Envelope 2(sealed by University): which contains marksheet attested by University and degree certificate

Envelope 3: contains envelope 1 and 2 which was then sent to WES( which used to be sent by an individual)

But based on new rules from Dec 2018, WES does not accept any documents sent individually or from any college that isn't autonomous, then how should all the documents be sent ?
It would be on great help if you tell me by explaining in envelope format.

You can just send the sealed and signed envelope which has the transcripts on it's own. It is not necessary to place it in a primary envelope. I had put the transcripts in one envelope, got it sealed and stamped and had sent it directly.

Also, send the post through the post office inside the campus, if the campus doesn't have one, use the post office nearest to the campus.

Will the envelope sealed and attested by college( will send from the post office nearest to Mumbai University) be accepted by WES even though the rules hav changed from dec 2018?

Envelope has to be sealed and signed by the university, not college.

Take all your mark-sheets, Year 1 and 2 from college and Year 3 from MU near Sydenham College, get it attested and apply for transcripts. After 20 days collect documents from them, put them in an envelope, and get the envelope sealed and stamped and signed and send it through the nearest India Post.

I can't be more clearer than this. You keep asking the same question again and again.
