ECA for NOC B. Is it really mandatory?

Hi guys! I just have a quick question: Is ECA mandatory to apply in EE for someone with NOC B? The school has nothing to do with the occupation, it's a completely different field.

Even if it's not mandatory you won't receive any points for education without an ECA which could have a big impact on your score.

If you want points for any education obtained outside of canada, you need to get the assessment done, no matter if your education relates to your job or not.

It's just a high school, we'll sort of a high school. Without education I get just over 800points so I don't think I would get much more just for high school.

Would the EE profile go through without ECA?

I've read that some people (who did not provide the ECA) profiles are inadmissible after 5 mins of submitting. So I wanted to make sure it ok before I even start the application
