ECA for my spouse

I am the primary applicant, my husband is also writing IELTS. Do I have tobdo ECA for his as well? How much value it adds to my profile. Advice please

ECA is not mandatory for secondary applicant. If you do do it, depending on his degree you can get a maximum of 10 points (in case he has masters or above) See here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp Your call if you need those points and want to spend extra money for another ECA.
