ECA for 2 year PG from Welingkar, India

Hi,

I have done my Bachelors from Mumbai University and PGDM from Welingkars. I already submitted my documents to WES for evaluation in Feb ‘19 but realised it later that they don’t recognise it. Now I’m planning to approach IQAS as my score is low even after getting band 8 in IELTS Could someone please help me should I resubmit Bachelors & PGDM to IQAS or just the PGDM marksheets?

Application sent : 21st September, 2018


Application received : 27th November,2018.


AOR 1 & AOR 2 received on 27th Nov, 2018.


Status on portal : In line for Processing


Status changed to : Assessing on 8th Feb,2019.


Status changed to : Final Review on 11th February, 2019.

Received ECA on 22 Nd March .

Will highly recommend IQAS . My 2 year PGDM from Wellingkar was given a diploma equivalency wherease WES did not even recognise the university.

With IQAS, please be patient as it’s worth the wait .

I have completed my PGDM from welingkar in IT projects management as a distance program and my BE in IT from Pune university.
I got my WES cleared for my BE however I want to get my PGDM accessed so is it possible through IQAS

My distance PGDM for the year 2013-2015 from Welingkars was assessed positively by IQAS. So all those with courses from Welingkars can try getting ECA from IQAS.

I need to understand what will be my PGDBM- Hybrid program be considered as per WES or IQAS.

I have done my course from Welingklar Institute of Management which is AICTE affiliated but not AIU affiliated.

Since this is impacting my CRS BIG way , need to understand if my education falls under

"Bachelor's Degree " or " Two or More certificates "

I have read mixed feedback stating for some its considered as Masters and for some Bachelors .

Will appreciate people sharing their own experience .

Visit Welingkars with all sem marksheet and certificate xerox along with IQAS Transcript request form, pay fees (600 for master set and 100 foe each extra set) using your Debit/Credit card and your transcripts will be delivered to your address within 2-3 days.

I am also in the situation i also did my pgdbm from welingkars and want to know from which body to assess the credentials and what to send them. Both degree and pgdbm or only pgdbm transcript.

I checked and confirmed with We School and also on their Website their 2 year distance PGDM are affiliated by AICTE.

Even im currently in the process of my getting my education verification done. WISH ME LUCK!!!!

Hi...I have a one year diploma in retail management from Welingkar, Mumbai. Name of Institute on degree is "S P Mandali's Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research" You think this will be recognized by IQAS.

Hi Rohini54, i have also done a one year diploma in Materials management from Welingkar in 2010. Did you got an answer if this is recognized by IQAS?

Has anyone successfully got their PGDBM from Welingkars assessed?
I have done one year part time in 2004. That time it wasn’t recognized by AICTE.
IQAS has suspended ECA till May 2020 and WES doesn’t recognize Welingkars.
Please suggest some solution

I got PGDM Ebiz regular ( 11-13 ) assessed from WES, it just gave me 1 yr PG diploma.
