Hi- I am engineer from Bangalore Univ and wife is from Nagpur Univ. We both did 10th and 12th from CBSE boards. Both are now in USA.

Postgraduate we have managed to secure it by reaching out via email but these Bangalore/Nagpur Univ seem to be totally different animals :o
I have IELTS on Mar 3rd.

Seek your guidance on how to secure transcripts remotely.

Any help/guidance/contacts would be appreciated. We both have all documents here with us.

Thanks in advance!

You dont need to get 10th and 12th. CIC doesnt care about what you did before turning 18.

Most universities in India need you to go there physically - once to drop off the stuff and then to pick it up.

If you are away, you would need to send someone like a friend or relative who can do it for you or pay someone to do it for you.

There are companies who specialise in this. I have not used their services so cant vouch for them

I had a similar problem obtaining transcripts from Madurai Kamaraj University. I contacted one of the professors who put me in touch with one of the current students. I got everything done through that student. It worked out well. He mailed me the sealed transcripts to my address in Canada, which I then sent to WES. I tried contacting cleartranscripts several times, but couldn't get in touch with them.

I have used cleartranscripts and they are fantastic. They are Bangalore based and my spouse university is Bangalore so I can vouch that the Bangalore University transcripts were a breeze. Takes about 3 weeks though and they will send it directly to WES on your behalf. I am sure they can do other universities too. please check with them.

Thanks for clarifying about the 10/12th confusion..

I asked about the 10/12th as the India section on the WES page has secondary education section which mentions:

"1. Final Examination Certificate - An official document issued by the appropriate Examination Board. It lists all individual subjects taken and marks earned on the final examination.

Examples: Higher Secondary Certificate, All India Senior School Certificate, Intermediate Public Examination Certificate, or any other 10+2 certificate awarded upon completion of higher or intermediate secondary educa

Well, if you dont have a degree, of course you send 10th and 12th. Degree holders and masters need to send only degree and masters for evaluation. However please avoid WES. Try IQAS or CES if you value your sanity! IQAS is turning it around in 10 days. With WES, you will be lucky if you get anything before 35 days!

to be frank with you i was going with WES as it seems to be the popu;ar choice..a relative of mine got it done through them sometime back..did you use IQAS?

No harm in WES except that it just takes too long and customer support is zero. And sometimes they make mistakes in evaluation if you are unlucky. More people nowadays use IQAS only because IQAS does it in 10 days. However, they are all designated by CIC so no harm in any of them. Its just that IQAS and CES tends to give higher chance of masters equivalency for Indian masters while WES is known to never give!! So people unnecessarily lose points. CES even has a 5 day rush service. All i am saying is you do research on all the ECA providers and not just because others are using it. Many people just blindly follow for no reason.

Thanks for the heads up...appreciate it a lot..

I'm not happy with Wes. I went with them as they were a popular choice. They are very slow. I haven't used the others so can't say if they are any better.
