ECA - Do I need to send them my original documents to get the Educational Assessment?

Hello Folks,

I am preparing myself to apply the Express Entry soon under CEC. My question is that I started to follow up the requriements for the Educational Assessment (since I have foreign diploma), and all the organizations (including WES) says that I need to send my original document for my Academic record though a sealed envelope by post.

The problem is, I am already in Canada, but my academic record is in Hungary, Europe. I am not quite sure yet what would be the best way to do it, I need to chew myself though for a lot of information, but now it seems very complicated to send a very valuable document across the Ocean during the Pandemic. There is any solution without sending the original document? I have everything scanned, this is the only bump in the road. :(

Thanks for the answers.

You sign a waiver authorising your university to communicate your transcript directly to WES (or whoever). They prefer that the documents not come from you, to prevent any possibility of tampering.
