Dear fellow applicants,

I had my ECA at WES assessed as Bachelor Degree (four years) with a total undergraduate semester Credits of 134.

Following the Bologna process the my University informed me that any diploma of 8 ore more semesters, is the equivalent to Master of Science degree. The also issued a formal supplement attesting that my Diploma is the equivalent of MSc degree in my country.

I know this to be the case with many European Countries and I am wondering whether any of you has had a similar case where his/her diploma was assessed as Master of Science? If so where did you get your ECA (I am being told WES would not change the first ECA from Bachelor to Master, nothing official yet).

Appreciate your support.

Hey there,

probably you won't read this, it is 3 years now, but if you ever see this message, can you follow up with your case regarding the ECA? I am in the same situation as you were.

May I ask in which country you study?

Hey there, I studied in Croatia. I sent an email to WES explaining the whole situation, but they didn't change the outcome, so I don't know what to do.. Maybe to contact some other institution to evaluate from the start? Have you had anything like this? Thank you.

I'm still waiting CES Toronto to asses my ECA. (3 years bachelor and 2 years Master) hope I get a Master equivalency.

I read the results depends on which institution you choose. CES and an other one (icas maybe) could give you a Master equivalency. You should check on the different pages of the forum.

Currently CES has a very long processing time (4 to 6 months) if your university is able to send them electronic documents. If not would be longer.

Hope it helps! Best wishes
