ECA - Diploma from a non-recognized institution

I have also done my ECA from wes but it says Canadian equivalency is three year of post secondary study at non recognized institution.I am applying permanent residence through Atlantic immigration pilot program. What does it mean it's not recognized? Can i proceed my application? Please help me
did you get any answers? Are you using this ECA?

You cannot claim points, if it is mentioned as from a non-recognized university.

Yes I will not . I got an email from visa office to submit additional documents. I send it and it's been a month I send it but still no reply. It's rediculious help me out what I should do now

The only option is to wait and check your myCIC account for status update. You can try mailing CIC, asking about your application status.

For a non recognized education, I see some people saying - dont claim points for it. Does that mean, dont mention the education at all in the education section? Or is there a way to capture them but not claim points? I was not sure what the right way is

Hi yes, i am in the same situation. I actually mentioned it in education and gave reference to WES reference number assuming that they will themselves decide how many points to provide for that. Didnt think it could be a misrepresentation. Any help from someone in similar situation, please help!

Hi, can you please let me know what your reply from IRCC was? Did they accept the diploma and did you get points for it? I’m in the same dilemma, and will like to know if I should proceed and claim point for the degree or not. Thanks in advance.
