Hi All,

I got my Btech and MBA evaluated from WES. it award me a bachelor's degree and one year diploma (entering these in the profile score is 468)
I put the reference number of WES award only
Then I applied to UOT CES for evaluation of only MBA. I was awarded masters' degree.(entering this plus the above bachelors degree CRS score 475)
I put the reference number of WES for bachelor and CES for Master's

Should I go on with this? or should I not mention my bachelor's degree at all?
Will it affect if two oragnization's are awarding me different canadian equivalency
after removing the bachelors my score is still 475.
Please help

Here's the issue, when you got your WES evaluation done, they sent a digital copy to IRCC with your ECA. We had a person who was in the same position, they put their WES ECA for their Bachelor's degree and another ECA provider for their MBA.

The problem was, when IRCC saw that WES had evaluated it as only PDG, they went with the lower evaluation despite the other ECA provider giving an equivalent of Master's degree.

The question is, if you provide the ECA for only your Master's degree from CES, will your WES evaluation show up on their radar when they are processing your application? It's hard to know.

Right now there's not much to be done, but i would just put your CES ECA for Master's in your profile, the WES ECA doesn't really matter because you only get points for your highest qualification according to the CRS criteria anyway.

What do you suggest should be done?

If I edit and state that ECA was done only for master's. And not for bachelor's.
How is it going to come under their radar?

Have you already received an ITA?

If you haven't then just replace the ECA with that of the CES one with equivalency of a Master's degree.

And then just hope for the best.

The reason the other guy got caught was because he put both ECAs in his application.

It's not a guarantee that they won't search your name and find both ECAs, but if they just go by just the ECA reference, they'll only see the one from CES.

In any case, it's up to the immigration officer's discretion but just hope for the best, and that they just check for the ECA from CES.

In one of the FAQs on IRCC website I saw this question

"Q.Which credentials to get assessed?
A. In most cases you only need an assessment of your highest level of education.
For example- if you have a master's degree you only need an assessment for that degree. You don't need one for the bachelor's degree"

2. That guy got caught- what did they do to his profile? Rejected?
