ECA by CES

Hi, I am from Pakistan and planning to apply for ECA via CES.

My question is:

- Is it required to provide mark sheet & certificate of Higher Secondary/Intermediate attested, sealed and sent directly to CES?

- For post graduate education, issuing authority can be either HEC or the university right?

- Are all photo copies required to be colored OR black and white?

(1) No. If you have post-secondary qualification, then no need to send CES secondary (Matriculation) or Intermediate (higher secondary) credentials

If still not sure, one can call them on +1-416-978-2400 (Ext: 3)

(2) For post-secondary education, the issuing authority is the "organization of study" if it is "chartered"

(3) (a) No black and white photocopies
(b) CES wants colour copies of your official degree + official transcript. Plus they want one copy of official transcripts sent to them

Last year, in early period CES was faster. As the year progressed, they increased time in which they will provide assessment. From what I read, last year, they started from 7 weeks processing time and went to 15 weeks processing time. For 2015, their processing time is 18 weeks. Please check their website.

People who sent their docs+apps;

(1) in August 2014 received their reports in Nov 2014
(2) in Sept 2014 received their reports in Dec 2014


I'v sent my docs in Nov 2014. My CC was charged in Dec 2014. They say my report will come somewhere in April 2015.

Hi Haris,

On CAS website they mentioned following requirements on their website.

Pakistan - Required documents for assessment

Secondary Education
Higher Secondary Certificate/Intermediate Certificate and Mark sheet

Post-secondary Education

All final Diplomas (e.g. Diploma of Associate Engineer) and Mark sheets for each year of study issued by the State Board of Technical Education
All final or provisional Diplomas/Degree certificates (e.g. Bachelor, Master, Ph.D) and Mark sheets for each year of study issued by the university
College-issued mark sheets/result cards will not be accepted unless from an autonomous college

Are you sure Matric & Intermediate is not required? What exactly papers you sent to them?

please tell me if my university is not recognized by HEC but my university is ready to official document directly to CES so is there any chance for me to apply for CES, weather they will accept it or not??
