Early Entrance & Return With Student Visa

Dear Forum Members,

unfortunately I couldn't find a specific information so decided to ask you. My Case is:

1 - I have a valid student visa and the school will start January 2019 (7 months from now)
2 - I decided to visit winnipeg and search for housing, bank account opening but the most a toddler school for my 3 years old daughter. And I planned this visit between 15 - 25 May 2018 (in 15 days)
3- after that, I'll turn back to my country.

Do you have any experience on entering Canada very before the school starts and going back to original country ?

do you have return ticket then officer on airport can believe. you are not just to stay and work there. keep in mind that you can not work, if you are not studying in school. you can work only from January 2019. you will also need to show them that you have enough money for 15 days. its like you must consider your self on tourist visa. because that's the status you will receive.
