Early assessment of IELTS exam

How many days it take to get IELTS result? Someone told me that with in 14 days exam result reaches to home.
I am confused, if after 14 days result is out & then exam center sends the results, which may take 3-5 working days or it is true that with 14 days we get the result at home?

Is it possible to get exam result early if me pay extra fees. One of my friend attended the exam in 2003 in Iindia and it is written on his sheet that pay extra Rs1000 to get result in 7 days.

Please tell if you have any information about this.

hey i gave my ilets test on the 17th of july and got my online result on the 30th of july exactly after 13 days but its the 31st today and the result has not reached my address till now... I am from Pakistan and i dont think that we have the urgent service available here but don't know about India or where ever you are... Anyways good luck

Ielts result will come only after 13 days and it will take 3 to 4 days to get ur TRF. consider postal delays so keep 20 days in all after test. no there is no arrangement to get IELTS result by paying extra fee.

Thanks a lot for reply.... I am in USA.... is it possible to send online result to visa office or I need to send original result to them.....

My exam date is Aug 14 & I need to send my IELTS exam by Aug 25......

Any suggestion, I submitted my documents & Visa office rejected my case and asked me to take IELTs, I did not check my mail box for few days then I found difficult to get exam date....

Can I send exam taking receipt to visa office & request for grace period of 7-10 days to send my result as I might get it by Aug 30?
Please help & share information if you have.

Please let me know if visa officer can grant 7-10 days grace period to submit IELTS report, if I request (write) after taking the exam.

I dont think u can get time bcoz they have to evaluate ur TRF to assess. do ur best to send them letter and if u get online result send them and hope for the best.

Can you please suggest that how can I get online result? What is the procedure. Please reply.

Select ur center name and enter ur passport no. u will get online result if it is already declared.

THe lowest mark they give is band 0 (ZERO) only...meaning the person doesn't speak totally the language. and Of course on each module category the more mistakes or wrong points you have the lesser band they will give you.

No, it is not true.
IELTS does not consider wrong answers. Only correct answers are used to calculate your score.
