Hello all,
I am currently trying to get permanent residency through the Canadian Experience Class program. I have been working for an employer since July 30th, 2018. However, my post-graduate work permit expires on June 25th, 2019... 35 days before I would have my one year of work experience required for the program. If I had my one year of work experience I would have 480 points
I met with a lawyer who told me one method I could use to work status would be to do the following:
Many thanks, any advice is appreciated

I met with a lawyer who told me one method I could use to work status would be to do the following:
- Submit an application for permanent residency this month (June)
- Because the online application would count July 2018 -> June 2019, I would get the full 480 points
- Wait to be invited to apply
- Once invited, do not actually apply for permanent residency, but wait until July 30th, as I have 60 days to submit my "full" application
Many thanks, any advice is appreciated
