I confess I wanted to get the new one. It took me a month after the ceremony to apply, but then I heard about the curling page due to humidity and heat and decided to apply at 74 Victoria (Toronto) and certainly get the old version. It is a five-year passport. Until the expiring date, I think Passport Canada will have solved this problem (they don't think it is a problem). Good to hear Mississauga is issuing the new design.

I don't know about Scarborough. I decided to apply at 74 Victoria location. Should be ready to pick up September 08th. I was really looking forward to get the "maple leaf one", but all I got was mismatched information.

I am not sure of this, sorry. I personally visited and applied for an urgent passport, and as mentioned, noticed that people are getting the new one.

Anyone applied in Brampton Passport office and received the new passport design ? I applied on Sept 12, let’s see what comes in the mail ..

I did ask the officer at the counter about the design, she said that passports are not printed at this location and they’re either picked or mailed from Mississauga Office. So let’s see what’s sent to me in mail..!

Just to confirm, I just picked my passport from Mississauga service Canada, and it’s the new design! I wanted the old one, but for sure, the new one also looks great! Best of to everyone!
