E mail from CIC

i have applied for TRV (paper application from India)on the 7th of this month, i got a text from VFS(1.3.14) saying that my passport is released from the CIC Delhi.

My question is - do i get an email notification from the CIC if my visitor permit is approved/ will i have to wait till the ppt is with me to find out?

how log it takes to get the ppt back usually?

Many people have asked the same question. Ask yourself this, why would ask for a passport if they are going to refuse? I mean you won't get a stamp saying NO ENTRY TO CANADA, or something.

It means you'll get a VISA. But don't book any tickets until the passport is back in your hands and you see the TRV stamp. Though it's fairly low risk to book before hand.

I had included my passport with the initial application, so the CIC has not asked to submit the passport
hence the question

any inputs on that

He never said they asked him to send passport.

Anyways, they will communicate the result to you. You will find out when you receive the passport
