Finally notes appeared under DM, they sent me the inv. to take the oath, wohoooooooooo ;) :)
Can I take with me my 4 years old ? I know that I can take guest(s) with me but a different story a minor kid, will they let to stay near / with me during the ceremony? (Is Canadian born :) )

What is your timeline?

My timeline is: application received March 6, 2013. Processing started May 2, 2013. Test May 7, 2014. Interview with a citizenship judge February 16, 2016. It says "Decision made". CIC contact centre refuses to divulge approval or refusal. When they will talk to me? Next week is 36 months since this rigmarole started. Another thing the CIC site says is that Citizenship grant Submitted before April 1, 2015 by March 31, 2016 or before. Should I call next week? April because of this March 31, 2016 deadline? May 3 because they started processing on May 2, 2013 + 36 months?

Edit: the notice to appear to take the oath of citizenship was sent on March 2 and is scheduled to Apr 5. I am in Vancouver. Yay!

I am in a little similar situation. I have my ECAS to decision made since April 2016 and then received letter to appear in a OATH CEREMONY. But one day before the ceremony received a phone call from CIC officer that my application is still in process and the Oath letter was in mistake and it will take more time.

Do you guys have any experience like mine, that they can send letter in error. I called CIC call center and they are telling me it is in background check still and the file is Under non-routine application. I have never received RQ and have already passed test in Oct 2015. I applied in Jan 2015 with 1095 days complete residency.
