Conrgatulations! that's a good sign, and gives us hope that things are moving.
I am still waiting (in process since jan 11, 2013) but we have a similar timeline, so perhaps I'll get a break soon as well.

No, I am still waiting.... I guess for some it takes longer. I think my case is stuck in some background check or something.
I am thinking of ordering the GCMS notes to see what is going on.

I think since I had to submit my PCCs in November and was given two month to do so, perhaps that is a reason why my case is delayed, not sure.
in any case, nothing yet, all i can do is just wait and hope that as the time goes by my case is moving forward.

CIC requested for my PCC back in Nov as well...PCC was sent directly from my homecountry's Police dept to CIC I think around Dec 12...

let's hope something will come soon. I probably won't fit into the 13 month processing time frame, but then it's only 80% of the cases that are done within that period. Some cases can take more time.

If I'm a CIC officer I would handle your case first...given you are not an extremely pushy type haha...some panicks ordered GCMS notes only after 3-4 wks of wait for the MR/PPR...

I think I would make a good CIC officer as well by now in reality though I think officer doesn't do much, it's the procedures that take time, all those checks and what not, and perhaps some internal shufflings of the cases or workloads from one employee to another could purely accidentally delay one's case. In addition there are seasonal variations in the human resources (vacations, etc). All we can do on our side is wait.

I think the process could be less stressful if CIC works in a more consistent way (i.e. process applications in the order of application date, medicals received date, etc). But sometimes it seems completely random and it's stressful when you see people applied after you get medicals or people submitted medicals after you get PPR.

If the process is more consistent and transparent, CIC would also get much less GCMS notes request and email inquiry, which again reduces work load for them.

Well I understand your point but the thing is, I believe if we are able to take a look at ALL, I said ALL, incoming PR apps there must be certain extent of consistency...keep in mind that the cases we are able to discuss here/see on the spreadsheets are very limited.

You cant just simply say CIC is inconsistent just by comparing let say, how many? 50 cases?

Hey, thanks for the inquiry. Still no news, have to be patient.
I know there are people who are waiting even more, so can't be really upset, it's out of my hands.
Hoping something will come sooner then later and wishing good luck to everyone still waiting for some news.
