hi all
just wnted to share wid u all dat yesteray i was checking my ecas status bt it is showing me this msg:

We were not able to identify you using the information you provided. There could be three possible reasons:

Please be sure the information you entered is correct and then try again.
This service is only available to clients with applications in process. We may have received your application but not yet begun processing it. The following link may help you determine if your application is being processed:
Application Processing Times
At this time, you may use this on-line service to view the status of your application ONLY if you have:
sponsored a member of the family class;
applied for permanent residence from within or outside Canada;
applied for a permanent resident card (initial, replacement or renewal);
applied for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship);
applied for Canadian citizenship for a person adopted by a Canadian citizen (on or after January 1, 1947);
applied for a citizenship certificate (proof of Canadian citizenship);
applied to renounce Canadian citizenship; or
applied to resume Canadian citizenship.

so wat could be the problem
i am done wid my medicals and already sent the passports in december

Lvo has removed me from ECASE, wht about ur e-cas is this working now or not yet, is there any Decesion made in this time...NEKEOL :P

I am experiencing the exact issue as you did. Which Visa office did you application go to? May I know your timeline?

Hi,

Some people have met the same problem... they are discussing here;

When some of them called CIC, the operator told them that "CIC is upgrading/updating E-CAS system and it's not available for applicant".
However, there are some other friends got another answer from CIC that;
* If you're waiting a 2nd line on E-CAS or Medical Request, it's possible that E-CAS disappearing means "your process was actually started".
* If you're waiting a Decision Made, it's possible that E-CAS disappearing probably means "your status will become DM".

I don't know why operators said different things and which is right. But I hope it's good omen for everyone.
