Hi,

I've an MSc in E-business & Innovation degree and close to 3 years experience in the e-business/e-commerce industry first as an assistant manager business development and then as an assistant product manager. Both companies were solely working in the online business/e-business domains.

I need help in deciding which NOC to claim experience in for EE. I believe it would be NOC 0124 as that includes e-business manager but my query is that even thought my responsibilities have been pretty much in line with 0124, my experience is for an assistant manager NOT as manager. Does it hurt me in anyway? Thanks

0124 - Advertising, marketing and public relations managers

as long as the duties is the same as yours, the designation should not make a problem, I hope others give opinion as well.

Thanks, 0124 sounds about right but again does the level of duty matter? being an assistant manager as opposed to being a manager? There is no category for assistant managers :(

if your duties is for the NOC matching and your designation is very different then its not a problem .... thats what everyone told us ... ask in FSW forum they are experts.

Agreed, as long as the duties cover some of what e-business managers are required to do according to CIC (which in fact is not even 5% of what we do ;D) it should be alright I guess. Thanks again!

SEND AN EMAIL TO "NC-NOC-CNP-GD @ hrsdc-rhdcc.gc.ca" with your Jobs and responsibilities.
They will tell you your NOC.

Thanks,
