I have applied in June 2017 and still in SS waiting for PPR. Seems like, most of the cases are done in 14 -15 months, so hopefully, you will be next in line.

Today I got an update on my application and IRCC asked to perform medical for my spous (Outland), our first medical expired in early February 2018.
Does anyone have similar situation?
Our SS is still in progress. No idea what's going on and when they are going to finalize.

May be they are close to finalise it. Didn't they ask for your meds?

No, they only asked for my spouse medical.
