i didnt get an email. But logged into cic today and saw it as updated. This was the only change. I did apply for GCMS notes 20 days ago. Is it because of that?

Background check "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

Me too, it went from NA to “We are processing your BGC”. Guess we’re at IP2 now. Hope we won’t get stuck at this stage tho.

Still nothing nighter IP2 nor refusal .....grrrr CIC we're getting tired and upset give some hope :D

Actually if the officer in charge of your case has a big workload we will post pon your application untill he goes through them ! Try to be patient :( mine was waiting for review for 2 months and now still wiating even its under review since 1.5 month

Congratulations! :D

I think our IP2 timelines were almost the same if I am not mistaken. It went to IP2 for me on Thursday 19th October. So maybe I can hope.....?

Thanks :-). Guess so. Would recommend to call CIO for the status of your file and get valid answers from them. I know someone who just confirmed yesterday that she has already been approved but it doesn’t reflect on her CIC account. Ironically, her account got stuck at IP1 for so long so I guess some VOs don’t update an applicant’s MyCIC Account.

For all those who submitted their eApr in March 2017 from within Canada and still waiting for their PPR, please send an email to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca your name, file number, date of birth and Unique Client Identifier (UCI) as per the instructions in the link below. They only accept inquiries from those who passed the 6 month period.

It worked for me and they sent me a request to send the passports one day following my inquiry :) Good luck for everyone!
Hello my friend,
I did the same thing. They said they don't know the processing time! It's beeing processed in Ottawa and they also ask me not to contact them regarding my application alot!

Hi guys,

is anybody experiencing the same technical issue as I am: in the additional docs field is written that they need more additional docs, but no message is sent specifying on what exactly they need...
I remember it happened before to some of you, but I thought the glitch was fixed long time ago((((
For me it is there for 3-4 weeks already.

oh and the IRCC web form is not responding recently. Have anybody tried contacting CIC via this
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp

I think its under maintenance. The whole site itself has been quite slow today

"The IRCC Web form will be unavailable from 12:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. Eastern time, on Tuesday, October 24, 2017, in order to perform system maintenance."

did you apply for GCMS notes? If i recall, someone had mentioned that the additional documents box changes when they're processing the GCMS notes.
