Hi All - I have a query. Does not paying RPRF upfront delay the application for a long time? Reason I asked is, I spoke to Ottawa agent yesterday and as per him the reason why my application is delayed as RPRF is still outstanding. He was nice enough to give me an external link to pay it and he uploaded the payment receipt on my application.
That also made me wonder, why would they not send the request to me and only wait for me to call to say that my application is delayed coz of RPRF outstanding. My timeline below:

FSW- O
AOR: March 23
Meds passed: May 23
BG NBG to NA: May 26th, NA since then

Can the experts please suggest what should be my next steps and how long will my application be delayed due to this RPRF outstanding. I heavily regret not paying RPRF upfront now.. :(

Regards,
P

Well you can always go back. The clearance Is for the previous stay you had in your home country, to check your police record. After that you can travel anytime and as many times to your home country.
