Call them to see what they've been doing with your case. Even though you sometimes get unpleasant agents, it's their job to give you some insight. They can only blame that PR process is not transparent enough.
I agree! I just wanted him to take a look at my case and tell me what he sees, as I was really excited about being able to talk to a real person after getting disconnected so many times! haha He was not rude at all but was just not willing to do much! I had all my personal details and application # ready for him to check but they weren't needed. : P

It does not ask for transcripts in the application though, I specifically went back and checked. It asks for proof of degree, so I uploaded a copy of my actual degree/diploma with the seal of the university. If they wanted official transcripts they should say so from the beginning in my opinion (they aren't free so I'm not going to include them if they don't ask).
Agreed, they should specifically mention it but also education certificate changes from country to country, not long ago there was no concept of a transcript from where I did my bachelors, it was just the details marks card.

I just thought since I am claiming the points for my Masters degree,I should include the transcript.
Somewhere in this forum, I saw that if applicant claimed additional points for completing Canadian education, the transcript will be required to upload. This specific upload section started to appear as a new requirement after CIC made changes to Express Entry in mid-November. Those who didn't claim points for Canadian education, did not see the uploading section in their checklist. In my case, there was a separate section asking for a transcript.

That's weird. I claimed points for my Canadian education but there was no specific upload section for the transcripts (I got ITA at the very end of December).

Hey all, Our designated individual tried to inquire about our case on the phone and the agent told her we did not assign any designated individual despite mentioning it on the eAPR and uploading the required form. Is this normal?

So yesterday, I sent an email to CPC-Ottawa to inquire about the issue, and I didnt even receive a confirmation email that my inquiry was received. No feedback at all. Is that normal as well?

Looking at your signature, we got an ITA on the same day. I submitted my E-Application literally on the last day before the deadline. Yeah I don't understand why some people didn't get that specific section.
I remember I was a little confused because I didn't know why there was a separate section only for transcript while there is already a section for educational background as well.
Anyway you gave them what they need so it should be fine :)

aha, we share the same timeline. I got medical pass on May 25th and documents request on May 25th too, except that I was sitting on "send you a message when background check starts" for a long time. Mine just changed to in processing. I didn't see the NA stage

Hello guys,
Here is my status, I applied as FSW in EE
AOR : 13 March
I got married on the 21st of April, so I sent a message to IRCC informing them
13 June : Additional documents requested to add spouse
19 June : Additional documents submitted.

Now here is my current status
Application status We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of eligibility We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents We do not need additional documents.
Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

What is my current status?
Will I have to wait for a long time for CIC to review the medical test and background check of my spouse since I just added her?

I asked here regarding email to Ottawa office to change status from Ip2 to PPR.
It was for my brother's file. Believe me it works. He got that precious email just now after 24hrs .

Thanks a lot .

Some movement in my application today (105 days after AOR)

My medical exam moved from you do not need a medical exam to if we need a medical exam we will send you a detailed message. Never seen this message before in this forum.

My medical results expired in may and medical moved from passed to we do not need in may.

I called the automated system and a medical exam is required, we sent you a message.
I still don't see a message.

Is this a good sign? The fact that they need a medical exam at this stage

Also additional documents changed from uploaded to not needed after RCMP upload

AOR march 6
Med passed April 22
BGC IP1 April 22
RCMP request may 17
RCMP uploaded June 6
I guess you would need a valid medical at the time of entry into Canada. So, anyways you would need to have a fresh medical done.

Although your application might have got through that stage, IMO you should have a fresh medical just in case. Wait for other seniors to reply as well..

Hello All,
Can anyone help me regarding two issues one status of BG and change of address issue:
I got my ITA on March 1st, 2017 and my E-APR AOR on march 17. Now my status is medicals passed and BG went from NA to we are processing your background check.is it IP2 ??
My other concern is i was in USA till end of March and on April 1st I moved out of USA and relocated to India. Since then am trying to update my address to my Indian Address, but when am trying to use the online form it says they cannot locate my account. I even tried used the web from but no reply came from IRCC.

Can anyone suggest any other alternative to change the address. any help would be really appreciated.
