No I only uploaded my degree since "examples of proof of education" only included degrees/diplomas. I didn't have my transcripts at the time so I didn't bother. In hindsight maybe the application processing time would've been faster if I had provided it then.
cool..

As per the trend outlnad candidates files are getting processed really slow. If you are not in canada i dont think there is any option to call. Only thing you can do is write an email to CPC ottawa, however if you wanna try calling 18882422100 CIC no. Good luck :)

Same here, March 7 AOR, no update yet.

Update:
FSWO - India
AOR: March 27, 2017
Meds Passed: May 29, 2017
Background Check: In Progress (May 29, 2017)
Background Check: Not Applicable (May 31, 2017)

I'm guessing next steps are: IP2 -> RPRF (since I did not pay this upfront) -> PPR?

Hey, yes they mostly send you a mail I suppose for the payment and then your status is updated. And mostly the RPRF mail is sent before IP2. Not sure about the timeline though and how they update.

After analysis of GCMS notes, I found below steps happens after each change in Background Check Status.
  1. Not Needed
    • Medical - Not Passed or In-Progress
  2. Next Step Background Check (Not Started)
    • Medical is passed.
    • Criminality is not started or Criminality is in progress i.e. Validity of PCC.
  3. Not Applicable
    • Medicals and Criminality checks are passed.
    • R10 is OK i.e. All police certificates, PA ECA report verified, Spouse Education, Age review is completed.
    • Security & Eligibility checks are not started
  4. In Progress (It happens twice - 1st at Analyst level and 2nd at Officer Review level)
    • Security checks are in progress i.e. Historical data is getting verified
    • Eligibility checks are in progress i.e. Employment documents & other eligibility checks
  5. Approved/Passed
    • It only changes when PPR is issued.

Hello,

Thank you for posting this.
I have a question regarding step 4. The first "In Progress" happens before Step 3 followed by "Not Applicable" and then second "In Progress".
My question is what happens in first "In Progress" step? Maybe our application is checked by an analyst. The same analyst perhaps also conducts the R10 check. Once that is done, the analyst marks the application as Not applicable until our application is again picked up by an Officer for a review which is when it goes into "In Progress" again. This means both security and eligibility checks are done twice. What do you think?
