If it was that stringent, do you know how many refusals we will be seeing on here?I hope you're right
Why do you think those agents are grumpy? They receive tonnes of calls everyday!

Dont worry. I think that if you have already submitted the BOWP application, you can continue working under implied status even though the BOWP is under processing.Hey guys, looking for advice.
My AOR - 29th March
Background - Currently NA (I have lived both in UK and Australia for more than 2 years so I can see this taking awhile)
I am inland and my current working visa ends August 15th. Do you think I will have my PR by then?
I have applied for a bridging visa but im worried that won't come in time either and I won't be able to continue to work, is there anyway around this or a way to speed up their process? Any help will be appreciated as im starting to stress.
Not sure about the impact. CIc agent was really annoyed last tym when I called them to ask about procedures to pay rprf without request n she asked me the reason why M i calling them so frequently. She also told me the dates I called and also that email I made to CPC Ottawa. I wouldn call them again who know what she can do..If it was that stringent, do you know how many refusals we will be seeing on here?

While I don't think it's a good idea to always call.I believe they are customer service agents and you have the right to inquire when you have genuine concerns about a service being rendered! SHE can be fired for talking to you that way!Not sure about the impact. Thank you...you just made my hope go up with the NA never changing thing..congratsHey hi, Applied by March 23,2017. Can you tell me more about that 50 points claim ? Is it nescessary to have ICT work permit more than 1 year from the date you receive the PR or just while submitting application process. Please confirm. Your answer will really help.
Don t make it a huge deal. Some of them are just rude and that in all the countries.I wonder why agents behave like that. They are supposed to be"help line".
If they got annoyed so they better close help line
Many people get the interview and it s just a formality to verifiy for example your real documents so go with all the documents you sent and scanned i mean the originals. It will be okHi All,
I have been following this forum silently and the timelines posted here, really very helpful. Below are the sequence of events for my profile
CEC - Inland
NOC# 2171
AOR March 4
Medical Passed Mar 26
BG Check In progress (Mar 26 to Mar 29)
BG Check N/A (Mar 30 to May 20)
BG Check In progress (May 21 till now)
Got an email on June 23 for interview on June 30 @ IRCC Etobicoke
Interview was a general one and Visa Officer told that its part of a random quality check and I don't need to worry. She asked me to wait for couple of weeks before I would get a "news".
However no final decision made yet. I am so unsure that what is happening at the background.
Anyone faced similar situation? Your thoughts will be really helpful.
HiHi Guys,
I need some guidance. What is the minimum Passport validity period required to add my spouse to my application. My AOR has been 4 March 2017 and my PPR has not been issued yet. I am going to get married in second week of August 2017. I want to add my spouse to my application either before or after PPR. Some body told that IRCC requires minimum 2 year validity at the time PP has to be stamped with PPR. Is this correct. If yes please send the link in CIC website confirming me the same.
You replies will be highly appreciated.
Thanks and Regards,

Very helpful. I don think either they can refuse the application but its just you may spill out some info which you dont want to. So better to avoid. While I don't think it's a good idea to always call.I believe they are customer service agents and you have the right to inquire when you have genuine concerns about a service being rendered! SHE can be fired for talking to you that way!
Some of the reps are very rude and just glory in being mean to applicants.
They are no different from some of my coworkers who are mean to patients and laugh about it later.
As long as you didn't demonstrate any form of harassment towards an agent, you are good.
The last time I checked the criteria for refusals, frequent calls wasn't one of them.
As much as you badly want the PR, you are coming to help them out. In my line of work, I see many "Canadians" who aren't going to be as useful to the system as you will be.
So bottom line, they need you too!
Edit: Just to buttress my point, I am sure a number of us got this mail from IRCC yesterday:

What is next for me? I received my BOWP last month, so at least there's that but it's been over 80 days since I submitted everything. Feeling anxious about it!
Good luck to everyone!
Edit: Realized that maybe BOWP timeline would be useful to someone:
