Hi all,

I have claimed points for my current job only (slightly over 3 years) but I held another position in the same company for 6 months prior which i am not claiming any points for (only mentioning in personal history).

The document requirements states the following:

"...should indicate all positions held while employed at the company and must include the following details: job title, duties and responsibilities..."

The letter the company is going to give me will include the job title and period of employments for both roles, but duties and responsibilities for the current role only. I would think this is fairly standard.

Can anyone confirm whether I will have any issues if the letter does not detail the duties of my previous role that I am NOT claiming points for?

Hi, i have the same issue but only one letter for one employment and the other one i will include it in the personal history. It is with the same company, will be any problem?

Not a problem assuming of course the reference letter that you have is for the NOC for which you are claiming points for.

Yes, the job letter covers the duties of the noc I am claiming points with the start and last date of employment for that position, it does not mention the other one in ang way., I have more than 3 years of experience in that letter to claim the maximum points for foreign experience due to be invited under CEC with my current job in canada.

In other words, my overall score will not change if I add another foreign experience. So, if it is like the way I am planning to apply for os ok right? I can put the other position with the same company only in the personal history and i do not need to show anything and they are not going to ask for it right? This can not be a misrepresrentation in any way I assume.
 
Yes, the approach you are taking is perfectly fine.

Just one more confirmation, there can not be a misrepresentation by not showing a job letter from the same company for a different job right?, if i put One jn work history and one in personal history, they can not ask anything about the latest one?
