Hello everyone!

I am filling my IMM1294 form and am a bit confused about the dates.
I was accepted into a College Program that is supposed to start in January 2015 and last for 16 months continuously, until the April 2016.

My Letter of Acceptance from Sheridan College says:
Duration: Ontario College Diploma (2 Years)
Orientation Start Date: January 2, 2015
Term Start Date: January 12, 2015
Expected Graduation Date: April 2016

In the Form it says Duration of expected study with start and end dates.

Should I type the Orientation or the Term Start Date?
What would then be the end date: the April 30, 2016 or January 2017 (since it is a 2 Years College Diploma Program)?

I hope you understand the confusion. Please let m know if you have experience with this or know what the correct answer is.

Orientation start date will be the start date for your studies in Canada.

Thank you, I also thought so.

Would you maybe know what should I write in the "end date of studies" field? Is is a 2 years program, but I am expected to graduate in April 2016 (that is what the Letter of Acceptance says). Should I maybe write April 30, 2016?

One more thing confuses me. Is that when my Student Visa is going to expire, or will I have time to stay in Canada on Student Visa while I apply and wait for my PGWP?

Hi,

Write April 2016.

Hey, as far as I've seen in the form, I have to specify the date.

I believe I will go with Orientation Start Date and April 30 (last day of April) as end date.

Thank you all, best regards!
