Duraion of PR visa stamp

Hi,

I am applying through Singapore and just wondering once your passport is requested and they put the Visa stamp in how many months do you have to get to Canada before your visa expires?

It depends on when your medical results expire, they are valid for a year.

Can you tell me if u went in person to submit ur passport at Singapore? And how long did they take before they returned ur passport with the stamp?

They haven't requested the passport yet I just submitted my application three weeks ago and I am wondering because my job finishes in June and I am wondering if I should sign my contract again for another year.
