I am a pr that issued in 2022 march.
I came to korea for travel and few days ago I had dui (0.09%). I will come back to canada next year. When I read about entry of canada with dui that will not access me to enter. Is it true for permanent resident? I am worried so much about entering canada and renewing my pr card.
I really need you guys help. Especially I know if usa citizens have dui record, as Cbsa agent has an access of FBI they can deny of usa citizens entering. But I think canada doesn't have an access to see korea criminal record

If you have not yet been convicted, you need to do whatever you can to get it reduced!

After the passing of Bill C-46, a DUI is now considered a much more serious offence which could lead to the revocation of your PR.

This seems especially problematic for you:
For those, including permanent residents of Canada, convicted outside Canada of an offence equivalent to impaired driving or refusing to take a breathalyzer test there is no right to appeal a deportation order issued under these circumstances.

Likely, you will only know if CBSA can see this, when you re-enter Canada. When it's time to renew your PR card, you must tell IRCC in the application to renew, that you have this DUI, even if it is reduced or even dismissed (probably not likely).
