Due to technical error i wasn't able to apply for Study permit out of status

:-\ Hi guys i applied for CEC in mid august no AOR yet so finally i applied for Bowp without Aor on 6th of October and was delivered at vegreville on 7th october one day before my status expires meanwhile i was applying for study permit online on 8th October i started an application after answering questionnaire at 10.25 according to cic and by the time i was uploading documents i uploaded my passport photos and went to drink a glass of water came back saw i was logged out of my cic when logged in again it showed me an option of continue incomplete application when i clicked on it it took me to a page where it said you are illegal in canada apply to restore your status as a visitor or student. It was not fair at all it was 11.30 when this happened and i still had 30 minutes left for my visa to expire.

I am very tensed guys whom should i report and what to do next please help

Time Zone differences between you and the Web Site? Maybe it was already the next day?

C'mon man...why did you play so close. However, as far as I know, usually you have 90 days grace period to apply for restoration (I am just speculating). In any case, you are not illegal as your application for BOWP is in process and you are allowed to work. I would call the CIC and ask for the next step to do. They may tell you to apply for paper based application.

CIC's website is NOT reliable. Waiting until the last day is a really bad idea! I think you should still be eligible for the restoration, if you are eligible for the study permit in the first place.
