I am a Filipino residing in the Philippines. I was an applicant for a butcher position in Canada. Now that I have my visa approved as a worker, my employer seems to be uninterested in getting me because of a probable reason that they have gotten someone else due to the long wait.

Now my friends I am asking you, what options do I have left?

I have another employer that is willing to sponsor me for an LMO. With that given, should I undergo all procedures once more? The medical, embassy fees, the long wait etc?

Or can the new employer contact both the initial employer and cic and say that they will be the ones to hire me instead?

Thanks in advance to everyone

If you want to work for a new employer, then you have to go through the process all over again. Your visa cannot be transferred from one employer to another.

No other way.

The visa that was issued to you is a closed work permit which only allows you to work for the original employer who hired you.

If you want to work for another employer, then you need a new approved LMO and you need to apply for a new closed work permit.
