Hi Everyone.

I have 2 questions.

- How many days does it take to receive the Dubai PCC if we apply online?

- Dubai PCC is valid for 3 months. IF for example we receive ITA, after 3 months have passed, would CIC accept that PCC? (considering we do not enter UAE again during that time) as I used to live there from (2014 - 2017) only for work.

Kindly advise.

Thanks.

-It will take on average 2 days as long as you have a UAE credit card and a UAE I'D. This is based on my own experience applying from inside the UAE. Applying was easy and straight forward. However, I was asked to visit the police station to confirm identity.

-Your application will be rejected if the PCC validity date is expired on the date of submitting your application

Thanks for the reply.

I am no longer living in Dubai, hence I would applying OUTSIDE of UAE on their portal. I do have my Emirates ID with me which must be cancelled when I left UAE. I have fingerprints ready with me as well.

But is it okay if I pay online through Pakistan's credit card as I am living here. Would it still take 2 days for them to send me the e-copy of PCC?

Please advise.

You do not need to upload finger prints since you have your Emirates ID. It's cancelled, but your records are there in UAE database. You can use any credit card as long as you can make international transactions. Yes, it should take about 2 days.

Many thanks, dear.

Stay blessed :)

Hi, may i ask what is the uae i.d.? Is it the one sticked in the passport? Or literrally an i.d. card? Thanks

Hi,

Have you applied? Did you receive it?
I am in the same situation as you. But I thought they need my finger prints.

Please share your experience

No, I haven't applied yet. I am still waiting for ITA though.

It's better to apply when you have ITA in hand, coz police certificate is valid for 3 months I believe.

Also, one friend of mine told me to apply online. They send you the certificate within 2 days through email
