Hi Everyone,

just to update you all that i also received my Passports back on 25 aug with a correction on COPR forms. Thanks to Almighty Allah.

in fact i received my passports on 7th of aug but COPR forms were not correct. They pasted my wife picture on my form and vice versa.... i immediately send the package back to CIC and now got the corrected package back. Thanks to Biju and Sattar who advised me during this time.

i am planning to land in Calgary in mid of september so lets hope that everything will got smooth.......

Congratulations to all who recently received their Visa's and all the very best to everyone on this forum.

I am reading some posts and it seems that after the medicals, some friends are receiving updated forms request with PCC. I did my medicals in July and gave updated forms to my lawyer. And I asked her precisely should I do PCC again. And she said it is not required by CHC now. Should I have done it anyway? Should I do it now and submit now to avoid delay? Sometimes I am a bit confused and regret a few things. My old PCC for sure is expired as I had sent it around 1 and half years ago.

Any recommendations please.

Hi, submit always those documents which CHC has requested. Not a single paper more or less.
In my case, CHC did not asked from me to submit any updated PCC. So it just depends case to case.

Firstly i want to stress that i am not senior member like Captin / Biju / SATDXB and the rest of the amazing people on this forum ................. But i may be able to shed some light on this. ;D

We to were only asked to send in Medicals and landing fees DD .... However our lawyers also asked us to furnish them a recent PCC which we did . I have no idea how he intends to hand it over!!

Perhaps you should have a word with your Lawyers again ..... ?? Mabybe ?

In the meanwhile ... leave it in the hands of the almighty and have a great EID ....

For months now i have been a silent reader of this forum... which has helped me keep my sanity and answer many of my question. Today i write to you all.... very distressed... and need your advice before i do anything.

To cut a long story short.... my husband is the Primary applicant. He has been laid off work just this Monday. ... And his Visa is due to be cancelled immediately due to the situation of the company.

We just submitted our medicals first week of August and sent in out DD for our landing fee.

My Question is ....??? If my husband is on my sponsorship (Residency Visa)... when by the grace of God we get our PPR ... would it be an issue..??
I am a teacher in the UAE and i am in a position to sponsor my husband and my child

Hi, very sorry to hear all about this.

But dont worry, it will have no effect on your application. Once you receive the PPR, dispatch all the PPs. But do note that you will have to dispatch the PPs from Dubai for visa stamping, as its prohibited to dispatch PP from India/Pakistan.

Captain/Biju and other Senior members will also share their respected advise.
