As i said to u last week I got a reply from CHC London stating that it will take almost 2 years or more for FSW1 cases, as 144,000 cases are still in queue & not yet reached a decision......after 1 week of the reply... my status got changed to In-process with RVBO details....so just relax....& hope for good... Do remember me & all of us who r expecting visa in DUA ..when u go for Umrah...by the way what's ur status now in E-cas.....?

HI akscanada,

thanks for your encouragement.
My status is still RBVO, no updates.

Dear SATDXB and other seniors,

Below is the reply from CHC after 3 days of my email. I really do not understand, why are they giving such replies. It was my first correspondence to CHC and i am the principal applicant, if they are not replying to our consultant atleast they should reply to us and we have not send the email before the stipualated time mentioned in their letter.

Anyway there is no way except to remain cooooool and anticipate that things will go right at the end. 8 months passed will see another 3 to 4 months.

Hi, member BIJU has suggested well.

Many times, the consultants just lie that they have send correspondence to CHC but still they are waiting for reply.
Better, ask your consultant to send a mail marking CC to your personal email id.

Cheers..

Dear Qorax/Seniors,

When re-entering canada, is there a minimum amount of the value of the goods you bring to canada to pay the tax or everything you bring you pay the tax? I heard but not sure the minimum is $750, if you exceed that amount they will calculate the tax from $751 onwards. Can you please elaborate?

Thanks

If u had listed them in the B4 while 'landing' - u get to bring-in anything & everything, anytime or at once - For FREE.
Else, beside the Free Allowance, u get to 'pay' for the rest... sometimes pretty heavy - which'd not make it worth.

I have one question for all dubai applicant, our passport is always with our employer... during the time of passport request, " what reason do you give to your company to take your passport ? "

It is illegal for the employer to hold your passport as it is a personal document and should be in your possession at all times. Hence, it is your right to request your passport, without even giving them an explanation.

I've been keeping mine with me always, never left it with my employer. But some companies made a practice of keeping employee passports.

Hi Seniors Specially Capt Qorax,
I have received my CAIPS notes. Could you pls clarify my below queries.
My B'FD is 02/07/2011. Does it mean that I would be getting my PPR only on or after this date?
In cost recovery what does it mean by RPRF: LFD. (I have already send the Draft for the RPRF for both of us)
What does it mean by "IMS - Visa notified on 11 April 2011, Case status 'assessed M01'"
What does it mean by Med Stage M01?
your input is highly appreciated.
Soby
