Keny...try to involve urself at the last but the most imp. stage instead of relying on ur consultant completely.
Also u can ask ur consultant to forward u the email that they have sent to CHC to cross check whether they have done their job right.

Most of our UAE members have "NOT so GOOD" experience dealing with their respective conslt. , spclly when it comes to prompt reply from them or CHC follow ups.

YES.....You can write CHC to send you the PPs back for your UAE visa stamping ( mentioning the emergency ) but that will delay your PR visa stamping by almost 6-8 weeks , moreover when ur Medicals are expiring thats a big question.
Check with ur UAE PRO , may be you have 1 month time even after your uae visa expiry.
Good luck buddy ...

1. If u already have the US I-94 - u can enter the US imdtly after 'landing' in Canada.
2. For reEntering Canada, by road, in a pvt vehicle u don't require the PR cards.
3. If u have the US or Canadian D/License or IDP - u can drive. Else, NO.
4. Any car - self's/relatives/rented would do.
5. Who drives isn't important.
6. I took mine from AXA Insurance... have written it's details in the "Temp. Travel Insurance" thread.

Good Luck !
