Help007 is the CHC london Applicant got Reply .

Last month, my brother Ecase start showing Decision made before medical. As from most of the post, we got the the idea that it is a rejection. Today, nearly after one month, we send email to CHC London. We received the following reply.

" Your application has simply been transferred to our new computer system (GCMS) and your new file number is E***********. The decision shows as being made, because your old file had to be closed when transferred to the new system.

staralihaider

i read a thread also from NECTAR telling about the new system that will be implemented this April 2011 which is gcms

details hereunder

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/global-case-management-systems-gcms-t60753.0.html

Breaking News !

Dear all,

Instead of CAIPS CIC would put into practice 'Global Case Management System' by April 2011. But its full implementation entirely depends on individual CHC's existing workload/backlog. The major benefit of GCMS is that it would retain more detailed information on selection of PR applicants till the final decision stage rather than the old CAIPS which only shows points for age and the total marks obtained if the interview has been waived.

This new GCMS would also assist immigration officers in further request for additional documents, cost recovery managemnt and to deter fraud in supporting documents submitted in support of permanent residence in Canada applications.

Furthermore; the SAP permanent residence in Canada applications from November 2007-February 2008 and the post June 26, 2010 permanent residence in Canada applications will be processed under new GCMS at CHC London.

Dear allllll

the 'Global Case Management System' is not to help the clients but to help Vo .

but no different of ur process time or system. its just an upgradation of new software ie all. like upgrading ur ERP from old to new SAP system :D

the loss of address bar etc etc alll part of this.

hi biju,

i read a post from staralihaider for the applicant felicityben (filipino)--------whats really happeing now?? is it the same for all????

Reply From CHC London

Applicant name felicityben

Hi everyone. I received reply from Immigration and Medical Services Division Canada. I almost feel hopeless that I will still be able to see Canada this year. It is just so frustrating that suddenly my dreams were taken from me. When I applied, they told me it will only take 6 to 8 mos. Now its been 1 yr and 3 mos..My stat changed into IN PROCESS since Feb 8. After a month, this is their reply... :

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your enquiry.

CIC is working closely to manage arrivals in Canada, so that we meet, but do not exceed the immigration plan set by Parliament last fall for 2011. Since we have larger inventories of applications than limits within the immigration plan for admissions to Canada, we must process applications according to the priorities set by Parliament. As we have a sufficient number of applications in our high priority categories, we are not in a position to process your application at this time, nor can we predict when processing on your application will resume.

Yours sincerely,

The e-cas of 'in process' means that the case file is under b/ground checking... it doesn't opine anything about the timeframe by which it's likely to conclude.
