i have received the passport from the consultant on 31/01/11 knowing that i was handed over on 12/01/11 its really amazing less than 3 weeks.
now we needs to think about landing .
appreciate if any you give me your advises or experience for landing in federal.

Today 9:00 Am, we received our passports back with Visa's stamped on them; Alhamdulillah. We had applied in feburary, 2007 and finally sent out passports in Jan and they received it on Jan, 14th. Because of the fact that we are parents of a child with learning disabilities, we had more than our share of anxious moments.

I like to thank one and all for the encouragement, support and guidance extended. I particularly wish to thank Senior members of this August Forum such Leon, Maaties, PMM, Qorax, Saki and others who were extremely encouraging and compassionate with us.

Lets put faces to the ID's we see in the forum(new members) and share our Thoughts & Experiences...

Now I wish to refresh few words from our Great Captain (Qorax, now in Canada)....
Firstly, it will sail us through on this long agonising waiting period. Secondly, thru networking we can help each other on info sharing and act as morale boosters. Thirdly, we'll expand our 'Friends-Circle', both here as well as post landing.

Quite a few of us, in UAE, are already in touch with each other. Some are thru, some just applied, some are waiting for their Meds while some are waiting for our PPRs.

In the Last meet there were many New as well as Old members and we had a very nice time with captain (Qurox)...Let's expand the network... Those who are interested can join us .......

One suggestion from me that it will be better to mention a specific spot in the SAFA PARK for meeting, else the park is so wide and big that we will be just busy in searching and calling each another. ;D

God is great. i am really happy to know u got the PPR and now the visa stamped. i know the difficulties u overcome with 2 meds etc etc.

same like this i pray for our friend Mr Jaleel too to get his passport stamped, who is travelling in the same boat.
