I had sent myself via Aramex - didn't really find any point in sending passports via VFS.

But do remember that you will need to request for the 'returning' of the courier as well - Aramex charge additional 50 Dirhams for that.

Good Luck!

by god's grace we have received the request for MR, RPRF and updated information mail on 26th October. very very happy as last whole year was too painful to wait. I love you DRD.

now I need to ask as it was written in the email that Medical form will follow the email otherwise we need to contact them back within 2-3 days. its been 2 days and we have taken appointment with the doctor for Saturday but forms has not yet arrived.

can someone tell me is there any other way to complete the medical or any other email address to check the form (as we have sent mail for form but just getting automated response).

Please advise

Alhumdulillah, I received on 27.10.2015 RFPR Fees & Info chart and Medical forms will be sent within 2-3 days.

I have following questions:

1 - Preferred medical centre Dubai or Sharjah.
2 - Approx fees for Self, spouse and 2 children
3 - Any other information which can help for medicals.

Wishing everyone best of luck...

Alhumdulillah.. congratulations..
Best suggestion for medicals is Al Zahra Sharjah.. Dr. Abdullah Davoodboy.. I think it was AED 700 or 750 per adult. Not sure whether same or different for kids..
We were suggested to go here, through this forum and personal friends... and Alhumdullilah it was a very smooth process... so worked out well.. can just call Al Zahra and book an appointment..
Make sure to take the form.. we did upfront medical for the new system, but for the old one they insisted on the form.

Hi everyone. ..I m from dubai .I am at the first step of migration to canada.just registered for my ielts exam. Is there a whtsapp group of other applicants from dubai?

After receiving PPR, how do most people submit their passports?
What is the cheapest method? and the most convenient method? (Cost for VFS? aramex? any other option? am in Dubai)
How long does is usually take to get it back? I have seen from a few days to over a month... do we have any average of the most recent submissions?

Thanks all

I personally didn't use VFS as I didn't find any benefit of it. Best would be to send it via Aramex - but pls note that you will need to pay to receive it back from Canadian Embassy as they do not pay for the charges. Simply tell Aramex that you need to pay for receiving it back as well - they charge AED 30 for that.

Earlier when I had sent in April, processing time was around 40 days.

Please if someone can please enlighten on the current processing time.

We submitted our passports in person at the embassy in Abu Dhabi. Returned by Aramex which cost 40dhs. VFS is an unnecessary expense. Aramex charges aed 150/- per passport to deliver plus courrier charges to drop and return.

Passports were returned in 16 days (October).

Hope this helps.

Hi,

Found the following answer to ur question on another tired by another member (Khebra)

"Just go to legal office in Abu Dhabi - infront of Hamdan center . Just bring the original documents and the office will notirise the copy as a ture copy sothat you can submitted to CHC."

And then another member said that he had done from some Arab Orient shop in above address.

Who has asked to notarize an education degree?
Is there any reason that this would be required, after having an ECA report?

Thanks
