Has anyone applied for the PCC on the dubai police app? I just applied for myself and spouse..but am worried that it may come via email... is that acceptable? They say it wont be stamped but will have an online verification instead using a PIN...
Is that alright?

I endedup going onto the "apply online" link through the CIC website..and the option was to apply immediately for the e-certificate.
Thanks

The Dubai Police PCC will be delivered to you via courier. It take 3-4 days for the application with all documents and correct fess to be processed. Hope this helps.

I have also applied for Dubai PCC last month and received it within a week as staying in Dubai since last 10 years. you are very right Dubai PCC is not a hard copy it is a softcopy delivered to you on your email and it is acceptable by visa office as they can verifies the same online.

it takes 4-5 working days to get your PCC and I have taken the print of the same pcc and sent it to the visa office. after the receipt of the same there is no communique from visa office hence, I am sure it is acceptable by them.

Has anyone done medical in any of the Dubai hospitals? The doctor in Al Zahra (Dr Abdullah Davoodbhoy) is going on leave this week until 12 sept..
Should I delay my medical and do it on 12th or is there any other really good doctor that anyone can recommend?

thanks

we enquired at Dubai police station and they said this PCC is valid so as per me it is not required.

Dear Sir , Sorry to start new topic in between. I am new to this Forum thing n dont know how to start new topic. me n My husband planning to apply for PR in Canada. My husband has done CIMA from London UK. He has 4 years of full time working experience in UK (13 years in total )and I have 2 years of Experience in UK (12 years in total ). We both are good at English but 0 at french :(. I am from Hospitality industry (done Distance learning course from Montreal Canada). He is in Finance. We have 1 year old Baby. We are pretty much settled in India but want to move to Canada for good. We don't have any job offer from Canada. Could you please guide me how to minimize the risk of being unpaid in Canada. I read your post and very much impressed by the fight you had given to the situation. We dont want to leave our baby alone in India. I may stay back until my husband gets job but we prefer to go together if situation permits.
1) Is IATA done by distance learning course from Canada is recognized in Canada or do I have to study again ?
2) Does CIMA from UK has recognition in Canada ?
3) Will our UK work experience help us any way in getting job ?
4) Do you know any job placement agencies who offer jobs which will help us to get PR also ?

We don't mind hardship but want to try hard to not let situation ruin very much so that my baby will have to suffer.

Kindly advise. Regards,madhuraonkar

If VO has requested for the medical then the sooner you do the better it is. It doesn't really matter on which doctor is better because procedures are the same. I've done from Zahra Hospital as well and it was a great experience. Doctor and staff were very good and friendly. Not sure about other clinics/doctors.

Hi,

No worries, we all have started from scratch and people around us (in this forum) have helped each other.

After reading your message it seems you haven't yet applied for permanent residency. In this case, the best would be if you go through the threads/forum of Express Entry.

Getting direct employment in Canada while you're outside is very difficult. However, the second option is to apply for immigration which would be through Express Entry.

It will take some extra efforts, however, you will need to visit the CIC website from where you can get all the information.

French is not mandatory - even if you're fluent in English you'll be good to apply for Canada - you will need to give IELTS test to prove your English.

Yes, job experience will definitely count - country will not matter but number of years will matter as points are based on that.

I believe CIMA will be recognised in Canada because ACCA is recognised there.

Following are the factors that will be considered for your eligibility to apply in Canada:

Age
Work experience
Education
English skills
Blood relatives in Canada.

Good luck :)

Hello mates, anyone here with visa office of LVO, how many days you waited from MR to PPR?

May I ask if we can follow-up email LVO about the status of application. What e-mail address to use? I used the services of an agent

From my experience, it was quite quick. I got medical request and I did after 2 weeks and within a week after the completion of my medical examination I got the request for passport. For some it may be taking some extra time, I believe.

No need to worry as they are changing their ECAS in order to reduce status enquiries from Visa offices through emails. No u will know exactly where and what stage is ur file on through ECAS itself. From transfering to visa office to sending out communication. There have been cases where people were unaware of their visa office and they were emailing/calling CIC to know that and same is with outward communications lots of people were not getting timely update whether they recieved any communication from visa officers or not due either not checking their inbox/spam frequently or they applied thru consultant and he missed that email

So in short this ECAS is inline with CIC efforts of making ur process more transparent and easy to understand which is good

And last stop worrying plzzz
