Can anyone help me with translations?
I got legal translation of marriage certificate, which has been attested by Ministry of Justice and MOFA...

But there is no affidavit or sworn declaration... this can be used for UAE purposes I guess...

Is it safer to get a certified Canada translator to do the translation instead? I assume this can be useful for the future as well wherever marriage certificate will be required in the country...

According to the latest definition, I understand that it has to be a certified Canadian translator, or have an affidavit if anyone else (even if its a legal translator)

The above is with regards to Express Entry... I am planning to submit profile soon
thanks

Go to VFS dubai along with passports, ppr email, photos and updated info chart and they will accept it and get visa stamping from abudhabi. (Quite afew did that)

Plz note dont email warsaw or ndvo as they will refuse to give permission

this is ok, I submitted marriage certificate, old style birth certifies in old style translation without affidavit and no problem. This is regular case in Pakistan and India. But must be attested by mofa

Process was very smooth,
1. At reception of "Primary Clinic" (6th floor new building) we were asked for original passport.
2. Photos taken by the staff, Information sheet listing examination required (Medical, Chest X-Ray, HIV and Syphilis (VDRL or RPR) were provided and then Consent letters were signed,
3. General examination (Height, weight, blood pressure, temperature)
4. We were given lots of papers, bill and containers for urine samples. Bills along with payment are submitted to Cashier at reception. Urine sample put at designated place
5. We were taken to laboratory for X-Rays and blood sample (adjacent building), after which we were checked (questioning and physical check) by Dr. Abdullah Davoodbhoy.
6. I was informed that results will be uploaded within 2 working days. (I hope everything went well and our results are excellent)

All process took less than two hours for 2/2 family.
Now waiting for TLU and PPR.

Eat healthy and drink lots of water.
Al Zahra (Dr. Abdullah Davoodbhoy) highly recommended.

thank you very much for the reply.

we plan to go on saturday.

Hi Nithin
It helps to check with the airlines but I can tell you as an Indian passport holder we did not have a problem transiting through UK, Switzerland, Netherlands and Paris as we had a valid visa / PR card for Canada.
I would reiterate that you check with the airline and to be sure you can call the respective embassy as well.
Hope this helps
best regards

Dear all, I need experts advice on my below concern.

I'm currently waiting for passport request after medical. pretty much at the last stage of FSWP 2014 applicant.

One of my passport page is slightly damaged so I want to renew my passport. However, i am confused to do it now before getting PPR request and send both passport when request come from visa office or renew it after visa stamped.
If i will do it now, will it effect to processing time ? obviously the application has been initially filed with the old passport.

I need your advise. So please help me.
