Hello Friends and good morning...

question 6d IMM5669-Schedule A Background/Declaration Form, is asking if I have been refused as a visitor to any other country.
I have applied for visit/tourist visa to USA 1 yr ago and have been rejected.
So, Do you think this will be an issue? and what should I do? Plz advice.

Thank you so much for your help.

This would not be an issue as long as you don't lie in your application.

Thank you Jaxon, I'm not going to lie. I am just worry it would be an issue by providing such an answer.

There should not be an issue, just give all detail in the declaration regarding refusal. I was rejected twice for Canada TRV, visitor visa. I provided all details. Just be truthful.

Dear All,

Wanted to share some good news that finally with grace of God we have been asked to
submit our passports for visa stamping.

Finally wait is over after waiting for almost 5 years and now planning to move to Montreal
by around end of August or first week of September.

Wishing everyone all the very best and hope all of us make it very soon.

God bless !!

Dear Friends, I need your valuable opinion, I am waiting for DM/PPR at the moment. I am working in Dubai on limited contract which I will finish by this year November. I prefer to go Canada myself first and take my family by coming March because my child is just 6 months old. But if I want to move this year means I have to break my contract which will result in making me to pay 45 days full salary to my employer. Otherwise I have to finish my contract here by November then go back to my home and move to Canada together with my family in March. I am really confused to chose which option. Need your valuable comments. Thanks in advance

hi everyone,

Good evening.

Im a Filipino and been working here in Abu Dhabi as an Etisalat technician for more than a year. I've got a bachelors degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering and a registered Electronics Engineer in the Philippines.

Can anyone here suggest me a good agency in helping me how to land a job in Canada or even migrate there.?.

Hello all,

I hope to receive PPR shortly, as my ECAS status shows decision made! Ideally I want to land in the first week of July, and if that doesn't happen I may need to postpone by several months. It seems that I will be cutting it fine, as Abu Dhabi VO generally takes 3-4 weeks to send back stamped passports.

For those who have received PPR emails to send passports to Abu Dhabi VO, can you kindly copy/paste the text of the email. Is Aramex the only option, or can I use DHL or Fedex as I feel they are faster / more reliable. Also can you share what exactly I need to tell the courier, so there is no confusion? I live in Doha.

Can anyone let me know when is the next CIIP session in dubai?

I have come across several posts which advise against the online request for PCC. Here is my experience with Dubai Visa as of 1st June.

1. Download Dubai Police App. Do not use website. They ask tons of details.
2. Request for Good Conduct Certificate. This is what they call PCC.
3. The only detail you need to put is your email,Emirates ID Number & mobile number.
4. Pay by credit card AED 210.
5. After 24 hours look for the Application status in the App.
6. Idealy they will ask to visit ANY police station. No need to go to GHQ.
7. Go to any police station , show them the App with refrence number.
8. They will look at you , verfiy you & will say you will get PCC in your email.
9. Enjoy.

In case of Abu Dhabi visa holders, you need to download Ministry of Interior App (No website). Enter all the details as above but they will send you PCC by Aramex. I did it back in Feb. Delivery time 1 week. There charges are AED 150 plus Aramex charges.

Prash,

You may use only Aramex. Do as they say and you will have no problems.

The email sent to you will ask you to enclose in the envelope the following things:
- email correspondence asking you to send the passports
- updated information chart, if any
- original passport
- photos (prescribed size)
- return** Aramex airway bill or self addressed envelope

** return service is NO LONGER AVAILABLE with Aramex (as of 25th May 2015) so enclose a self addressed C4 (one that can fit an A4 size paper without having to fold it) envelope.

Send by Aramex and wait. ;)

I'm awaiting mine from the embassy.

Harshad,

Thank you for the detailed reply, and reassurance. So if return service is no longer done by Aramex, does that mean Abu Dhabi VO bears the cost of the return courier? Not concerned about the cost, just wondering if I need to pay them through some other means :)

Another question (pardon my paranoia)... I don't have extra copies / jpg file of the photos sent to LVO, so will need to click photos afresh. Is there any mention that the same photos need to be sent??

All the best for quick return of your passports and speedy landing!

No it's not borne by them. You need to pay upon delivery lol

As far as the photos are concerned, they can be new ones too. Paranoia in such cases is normal, the 'what if womething goes wrong' sword is the mightiest :P
