Hi all,

Regarding the visa office in the generic application form, do we have to select Abu Dhabi or London Visa Office?

I'd appreciate your help!

Do you know of any cases wherein NDVO directly advised the applicant that the PP can be submitted to ADVO or LVO ?

I was under the impression that the applicant had to request such a transfer proactively.

hi guys, need an inputs

I am a manitobian nominee ( I got my letter of approval-loa) and i have job offer letter from canada employer, obtained during my exploratory visit. My question is the following:

1. Do I need LMO?
2. if not then what to write/enter in the form IMM1295E since there is a particular box asking a LMO.
3. Proof of funds- how much is the limit?
4. Can we apply work permit and PR at the same time? like i will submit my work permit application in VAC and i will send all docs to CIC for my PR applications.

Thank you for the help

Abu Dhabi is not an eligible VO for FSW Applicants. Its the local VO assigned to your country of citizenship or LVO (if residing in the UAE).

Dears,

I need your advise. My wife applied for Canadian Immigration 4-5 years back in Dubai at NASC (North American Service Center). The last time we visited NASC was around 7 months back. They told us that our application was denied. If our application was denied, we need to get a refund right? at least for the AED 6,500 we gave them for the fee for 3 of us? The first time we visited them they asked AED10,000 at the same day for their fee. We gave them another AED 6,500 for the fee for me, my wife and our daughter. After few months, they told us they need a copy of our papers and each photocopy of our papers cost AED 50 X 40 papers = AED 2,000. We regret of not pushing them and I think they didn't even submitted our papers and was simply taking money. Is there a way to check if our application was applied? Please advise.

Thanks in advance.

Hi JDN

Have you received a PPR from NDVO ? If I understand correctly, you need to submit your PP to New Delhi VO and not Abu Dhabi ?

Did you request for the stamping process to be transferred to ADVO instead ?

NDVO will not deliver Passports to a return address outside India as this is not permitted by Law.

Dear nishesh ,

I have applied from Dubai and since i was here for the last 7 years , there was an option to use London visa office . ( all UAE applicants have to select London visa office as per the Guidelines in the application form )

After applying for final visa stamping alone London office will be instructing us to submit in Abu-Dhabi Embassy .

You will get the return Aramex bill there itself at the counter.

Just take the passport, photos and other required documents to Abu Dhabi
Thanks Coolguy , +1 for your suggestions

Dear Echoboxone ,

Almost all the consultants in UAE are fraud . they will take maximum from as and leave as with no idea where we are . This was the same with me I lost money with two consultants , then learned from the consultants how to submit in the hard way . After getting basic ideas from Consultants and lot of help from Forum , i was able to apply this year .

You can start your application after sharing your information through Forum and discussing it with applicants of similar NOC . This is a wonderful platform for doing it by yourself and helping others .

What ever given to consultant is lost . You can start it from scratch if interested using this forum. you can also post your doubts in " http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/fsw-2014-applicants-timeline-lets-network-here-t199004.0.html#new "

Best of luck

My friend applied through NASC, and it was overall good experience for him, he got PR, and now in canada....
They will NEVER refund even a single penny. I know someone personally, they took 5000 AED before FSW 2014 NOCs announced and once it is announced and his NOC was not part of it, they simply denied to return money.....
Once you applied, you should have regular follow up with them; if they had send your application, there must be AOR/PER after few months time. If you didnt get anything, it sounds as they never applied. No matter you blame them, but for me you are more or less responsible too. When my friend applied, he was contantly in touch with them, and everytime he was asking for official letter ( AOR) Forwarded email from visa office for medical instructions and even tracking number of package while submitting application. Being in contant touch, pushing them proved right for him, and finally his application went successful, got PR and now in canada.
I remember, at time when he got passport request, he felt that NASC might ask for more money and instead forwarding passport to consultant for visa office he directly sent his passport to London visa office along with withdrawl of representative form...It worked for him, NASC kept calling him to submit passports , by emails, phone and even my post (probably they found it time to get more money from applicant) but by that time he already has his passport back with visa stamped, without even letting NASC know about it...
Anyways, forget that money, you cant get....unfortunately...re-apply if you could.
Best of Luck..

Hello jdn,

Thanks for the reply.

I have been living in UAE for 15 years and as indian national I selected NDVO (all suggested that NDVO is faster than LVO). I was wondering is there any possibilities we request NDVO to transfer our file to ADVO at later stage? any ideas or suggestions?

thanks in Advance

Hi nishesh,

I know I've asked many questions but if I opt for LVO, will I be required to deliver my passports there or to ADVO?

Q2: I'm Syrian and upon checking the CIC website, I found 3 visa offices where I can have my application sent. How can I know which one I'm supposed to include in my generic application form?

Thanks in advance for your help.
