Till u have 1yr experience in one of the listed 38 NOCs -in the last 10yrs u r fit to go. Relax, 5yrs exp in 1111 shall be fine with your apps.

I am also from dubai. I applied in October 2008. But I received the acknowledgement in the month of April 2009. I was asked to submit all my papers within 120 days. I submitted all my papers except IELTS. IELTS results were sent in the month of January 2010.

My issue is that I can't find any sort of information regarding my status in the CIC website. When i send a mail regarding this, they replied that my case is under process. Any clue by when I might get a final decition?

Secondly, if in case I return back to India, what will happen to my case? If they ask me to send passport, how will I send passport from India? I heard its illegal to courier passport in India.

Will appreciate any feedback.

Hi,

U get an AOR from the CHC once your complete docs have been submitted. Since u sent the IELTS only in 2010, u should be getting the AOR now. Once u get that u'll be able to check your e-cas. Your time of 2-3 months started 'only' from 2010.

From now on, if u do not delay your docs [whenever requested] and if u don't run into any 'red flags', u should expect to have a 'conclusive decision' to your file by 10-12 months.

Yes, u'll not be able to send your pps thru courier or postal media from India. U'll have to send it 'on person' or carry it yourself.

Thanks for your reply. All this while I was under the impression that the letter from the Centralized Intake Office Sydney is AOR. So according to you its at least another 10 to 12 months more from now on if everything goes smooth.

That's an AOR too. The CIO-NS sends u the 1st AOR. But, post 120 days docs, u get another one [the 2nd AOR] from the local visa office.

dont worry we are all connected n im sure we all visit this page daily. I email london n their repsonse was the same background check....my consultant says i should expected some thing 3 months after my medical....so i have 15 more days to wait...

I am CHC Islamabad Pakistan applicant in 1111 category. since our cases has been transfered to CHC London for further processing from April 10, 2010, I dont hv any idea that how they will respond to us, how much time they will take to start processing our cases, how they will do verifications (from employer), how background checks will be done etc. etc. ..I think this activity will take more time than our local CHC.

I am posting this message here just because our situation is a bit simmilar for same visa office and u people hv some experience for dealing with CHC London and could better understand my situation and suggest.
