ust sent my application recently for 2263.....just want to ask how long should I wait before I receive any response from CIC, for example taking the payment from my credit card, then the next steps......another thing, i just attached a Bank Certificate in my application, as required in their website....my question is, is Bank Certificate sufficient, or they will require me for Bank Statement later on....the problem for Bank statement is it will show my personal loan with the bank, which i didn't declare in my application document....

Hoe you guys can give an advice....many thanks....

The letter they sent says wait 6 weeks. But it comes back any time after the 3rd week.

If you are anxious, just keep checking your ecas status daily, you will get the passport within few days of your status becoming decision made 8)

Dear Seniors please give me your valuable advise as I received Passport request from London Office, and last date to submit my passport is 22 December, and i have some doubts here:

. i am going to India on 28.Nov.13 for my brother's marriage, and coming back on 12 December (Thursday). what is your suggestion shall i cancel my trip to India and send my PP to London Office immediately OR
just attend the Marriage and send my PP on 12 December (Thursday-on my return).

. i am in a big dilemma, as my last submission date is 22 December 2013 to London Office (they gave 30 days time).

. and please tell me the best & FAST courier service from Dubai to London, if i send my passports on 12 December i may have only 4 working days (2 weekends are coming Cry Friday, Saturday & Sunday).

You are in a tough spot my friend.

DHL will try to deliver the passport the very next day (i.e. if you give them the passports on 12th, it will be in London on the 13 and they will attempt delivery).

However, when I sent my passport, from what I could see from the DHL tracking website, the courier kept trying to deliver the package after the embassy closed, and it was delivered on the 3rd working day (I also had weekends in between).

FedEX and DHL are both reliable but sometimes stuff like this happens.

All I can do here is tell you what I would have done in your shoes, i.e. sent LVO an email explaining this situation and traveled to my brothers wedding, returned back to Dubai and went straight to the courier from the airport to send my documents (prepared everything photographs, return envelope, etc, in advance). Again this is just my opinion.

5 working days (Friday is a working day in UK) is a risky, but somewhat achievable target to send a package to London from Dubai.

I'm currently working in Qatar as a civil engineer with 4+ years of experience and I want to know how I can migrate to canada I don't know how I can find AEO or Arranged Employment Offer so I can migrate to canada. I wanna ask advise from those people who already migrated to Canada about the process they did and if I need to consult and agency to do it or I can jst do it my own?

If you have a lot of money to waste, you can go ahead with the consultant.. or just follow http://www.cic.gc.ca and read the forum updates..

I strongly advise you not to join any company for six months for saving money. Especially in Dubai.
Living cost is very high and life is not that easy as it looks...Too many procedures....

However if you want to join here then better you do landing in Canada first and give address of your relative/friend in Canada for the PR Cards.

Then come to Dubai for at least two years to save something and still I don't know your family size !!
I am in UAE now almost 13 years and can guide you on living cost and problems

Hi,
I agree with rizmayo. you should write an email to LVO explaining them the situation and should courier Passports immediately after returning from the wedding. you may ask the courier company too about the express courier that can reach in 2-3 working days.

we are also done with the medicals in november and waiting for the passport request. when r u planning to move to canada and which province ?
