thanks a lot rizmayo... there is no date written on ecas as to when they received the medical report. We just did our medical last April 3, 2013 at Dubai-London Hospital and they send it through net to the concerned department in CIC. The next email i received from them is last July 17 re: their instruction to submit the passport.. Although it is clear in the COPR that i must land before May 2, 2014, I was just in doubt why they put this date which is a month more than a year of our medical. And im just worried of going to medical again due to moper than 1 year medical result (hope it will not happen). One thing more why i'd like to travel by end of April next year is that, i will be exactly 5 years in my present company by end of March 2014, and i want to take the opportunity of higher computation of gratuity when i resign. Plus, at least few more weeks allowance for some obligations to settle here in dubai.

You are most welcome. Don't worry the date on the COPR is what you have to follow. There is no instructions even on CIC website that ask you to land within the expiry date of your medicals, just that maximum validity of visa is dependent on it :D As you now have the COPR in hand you need to follow that date for landing.

Did you send your passports to London or Abu Dhabi, If London can you please share the process?

Regards,

yup, COPR is my reference... i actually applied thru an agency here in Dubai. We just handed to them our passports (me, my wife & 2 kids) & the filled-up Updated Information Chart (which is a one page form attached in the email of CIC for updating the details of your passport like numbers and dates, height and eye color together with the our most recent photos). There are other minor instruction in the email from visa office like including return or self-address A4 size envelop which the visa office will use for returning our passports. The submission of our passports was taken care off by the agency and was dispatched last July 24 then received it back from them last Aug 29 (approx 1 month). Our application were processed in London Visa Office which they received our application way back Jan 31 2011 and start processing by Mar 22 2011. Its actually 2 years after when we received then an email from them last Mar 13 2013 to proceed with the medical exam.

Hi Bigboss,

Yogi77's medicals have not expired yet. He said got them done in April 2013, so they will expire in April 2014.

For your case you will either get an extension in your medicals, for which visa office will inform you, or you will have to do the medicals again.

Regards,

Thanx dear for yr clarification

Hi All,

I am having issues printing the information chart from my PPR document. Set paper size to A4 and the chart is overflowing to 2 pages.

Anyone who has experience printing, can I resize the page or force to print on A4, or CHC is very particular about the size?

Regards,

Dear All,

Alhamdulillah, I have received MR from LVO on this Thursday after a long wait. LVO only asked me from medical and RPRF. I am residing in

Abu Dhabi and booked appointment with only DMP Dr. Samia Tufail in Abu Dhabi.

I have a few questions if somebody can help me with:

1- Anybody have experience doing medial from this DMP? Please share your experience.

2- Is there any form for RPRF payment?

3- What I need to send to LVO? RPRF bank draft and medical receipt put in envelop and send it to LVO? Or is there anything else?

4- My daughter is 4 years old now, she has photo on the passport when she only 3 months old. Do I need to update the photo on the passport for PPR?

Thank you and appreciate your kind response.

3- What I need to send to LVO? RPRF bank draft and medical receipt put in envelop and send it to LVO? Or is there anything else? Send a cover letter with your file details and what you are including in the envelop. Also mention the date of your medical even if it is already on the receipt copy

4- My daughter is 4 years old now, she has photo on the passport when she only 3 months old. Do I need to update the photo on the passport for PPR? No, if the passport is valid for more than a year, then you don't have too. They will ask you for updated photographs in the medicals and again when you get the passport request

Thank you and appreciate your kind response.

Congrats on your MR

Hi forum members,

we got our passports back last week stamped with PR visa that will expire on May 2, 2014. We are planning to land by middle of April next year since our kids are still at school here in dubai. My question, is it ok to land even it is more than a year after our medical exam? which was done last April 3, 2013?.. Thanks for any info

i got an answer to my own question... as i look again on our COPR, the item under Medical Details show the validity of our medical but all of us have different dates written. For me its 2014/07/03, for my wife it's 2014/05/07 and both for our kids is 2014/05/02 even though we did our medical on the same dates (2013/04/03). Maybe the Visa Office received the medical results on these dates and choose the earliest date which is May 2, 2014 to be the expiration of visa...

any of medical or passport expiring first is the visa expry date.

This is indeed useful information.

I completed my medical at Samia Tufail’s office and overall it was a pleasant experience. Remember to carry original passports for all family members, photographs and medical letter from LVO. Now the system is online so no fuss about courier receipt and follow up. Good luck.

Thanks... i called her office they ask me to bring the original passport, but they were saying that photos are not required as they will take the photo, but they ask to bring only one photo for my child.

Please confirm if the photo are required for the all the family members?
