Dear Qorex,

I received my GCMS notes today .I found they put my file put away, they removed all the status of security and the criminality is not started .the medical is passed .my question is why the criminality not started yet? why they hide the security ?does they mean their problem in my security issue?

Skilled worker is different from AEO (arrangement employment offer) or job offer in ur simple term.

You need to wait till may or june for new list of occupation announcement by CIC. You can apply under skilled worker without job offer.

Please visit www.cic.gc.ca for further details

thanks for the info.. :)

Hello Everyone!

Just a heads up for anybody, including me, preparing for the upcoming re-opening of FSWP, a notice from CIC stated that:

"Notice – Changes to the Federal Skilled Worker Program

March 1, 2013 – With new criteria for the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) set to take effect in May, many prospective immigrants may already be preparing to apply.

However, future FSWP applicants should be aware that CIC expects to announce three important elements of the FSWP in April that will have an impact on the application process, including:

a cap on the number of applications that will be accepted in the first year;
a new list of priority occupations; and
the organizations that will be designated to conduct educational assessments.

Applicants who prepare their application before this information is announced do so at their own risk. Applications that do not meet the criteria that will be announced in April will not be processed.

On December 19, 2012, Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism Minister Jason Kenney announced significant changes to the FSWP. In addition, the Minister announced that the new FSWP would be opened up for applications on May 4, 2013. A pause on applications, except for those from certain PhD students and those supported by a qualifying job offer, has been in place since July 1, 2012."

You can refer to this site http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/notices/2013-03-01.asp for further info.

Hello everyone!

I just have few questions regarding Proof of Relationship in Canada. Do they need the notarized copies or just photocopies of these documents?

* Permanent resident of canada
- Record of Landing (IMM1000) or
- Confirmation of Permanent Residence, or
-Permanent Resident Card.

* Canadian Citizen
- photo page of a Canadian passport, or
- Canadian citizenship card.

Proof of residency:
Provide evidence your listed relative physicallt resides in Canada. This may include copies of:
* lease agreements,
* the most rtecent Notice of Assessment from the Canada Revenue Agency
* an employer's letter confirming employment,
* monthly bills, etc. (one page of each bill is sufficient)
* credit card invoices and bank statements

and regarding the proof of funds, do we need to submit it during the initial application and if not when will it be needed?

Please advice me.. I need a quick reply regarding these please..Thanks in advance!

yup POF r needed during initial submition .......

@@@COOLGUY

it has been such a long time when u have applied...just wanna knw for POF u have to keep the funds till ur app is processed?? or till they accept ur app.. i mean did u withdraw tht money after ur app got accepted???

hi fatima!thanks for the reply..how about the proof of relationship in canada, do you know if i need it to be notarized or just photocopy of the documents will be enough as it is coming from canada?

If you keep the funds , it will be better. You can do rotation of funds nearly by 20 - 25%.

I had move my funds in between for better returns , as i was not sure when the immigration process will complete.

You need to keep the funds till last moment (PPR stage)
