Hi seniors,

Any idea about how much gold can be carried along with us(little more than daily-wear jewellery) when we make our first landing. Do we need to pay tax for this, and what are the customs formalities to be followed at departure in Indian Airport and at Landing Toronto Airport..

Dear Readers,
I'm a silent reader of this forum. This is my first post. I'm living and working in Saudi Arabia. I'm a M-I applicant and my visa office is Singapore. Alhamdulillah , recently I got PPR. But facing difficulties to submit my Passport. Need your advice.
As we are outside Bangladesh we can't submit our passports ( we are 3 in my family) to VFS, Dhaka. I asked courier services here. Aramex and Fedex refused to carry passports outside Saudi Arabia. DHL agreed to carry but not all 3 in one packet, for 3 passports have to use 3 separate envelops ( 3 times charge ). Most important , DHL have no return service, that means they are not agreed to take our passports back from Singapore.
I sent mail to Canadian embassy, Riyadh. Canadian Embassy informed me that they are not dealing with permanent resident visa.
I sent a mail to Singapore visa office, not yet get any response from them. What should I do now ?

CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF WE ARE ELIGIBLE UNDER FSW??? IF YES WHICH CATEGORY WE COME UNDER??

Good day to you and to other members of this thread!

I was about to apply with one of consultant agency here in dubai because i dont have any idea how to get there in canada but as i browse i saw this very helpful thread and thinking of applying by ourselves (my husband and my baby). I just have a few questions that i hope could somehow give me confidence to start my application..

I am a Bachelor of Science in Nursing graduate, 31 yrs old presently working as a Dental Nurse/ Assistant for almost 5yrs now, while my husband is a Bachelor of Sience in Mechanical Engineering graduate, 32yrs old with 7yrs working experience as Mechanical Engineer. We have a 1yr old baby.

Now here is my questions if you dont mind and other members please advise me as well :
1. I want to know which category can we apply? Is it under FSWP?
2. Who do you think will be the Pricipal Applicant me or my husband?
3. Do the PA needs to take ielts first before starting the application?

Crediantial Assessment agencies still not listed by Canada Immigration Deptt.
