While visiting the DMP for ur meds it's wise to disclose any previous ailments alongwith copies of it's therapy/medication/treatment. I had high BP & Cholesterol, used to take meds, -- and had informed that to my DMP... it didn't make any difference to my med report... I got my visa within the timeframe.

Please suggest me as I have sent my PPs on 25th Dec and delivered on 27th Dec at LVO.

1.How long do you think it will take to get our PPs back with visas ?

2.Secondly, my Ecase still shows in process not even changed to Med recvd ?
3.I have sent my renewed PP only not the old one which was given on application earlier, will this be a problem for them to issue visa ?

4.Lastly, is Feb/March is good time to land with fmaily and kid of age 8 ?

Hi,

1. Usually it returns by 4-6 weeks in UAE. U could expect it by end of Jan or early Feb-2013.
2. Don't worry... e-Cas is known to be erratic.
3. Technically u should also have submitted ur 'old pps'* - stapled to the new booklet. However, few had successfully got their visas by sending only the new.
4. Anytime is 'good'#... winters do not hamper anything here. If we could brave the Middle Eastern 'summers' - so can we the North American winters.

#It's wise to 'land' asap upon receiving the visas, irrespective of the time of the yr. B'coz anything can happen by the time our meds expire.

I ve been shifted to Edmonton. I have a small doubt, I wanted to apply for my DL in Alberta but it requires a validation letter from RTA Dubai and legalization from uae Embassy in Ottawa. I have brought a 2 pages experience letter from RTA dubai dated 14th Oct, 2012. Is this the letter I need to sent to Ottawa along with my original DL n CAD 50 draft? In the letter it's showing an expiry date: 13-12-2012. I left Dubai n reached Canada on 24th Nov, 2012. will it be a problem? I mean the expiry date.

Need your suggestions in this regard.

Thanks a lot. Actually one page is experience letter-e certificate and the other page was last two years traffic fine history. I have sent both the pages, original DL and CAD 50 Draft to UAE Embassy-Ottawa. Hope it's gonna work.

I have one more query. I ve landed on 24th Nov n Immigration officer informed me that i'm gonna get my PR card within 6 weeks. So far no news. IO did a small mistake while writing my address. I have landed in Toronto and my address was Brock ave, instead of Brock he has written Brook but postal code and other things were OK and I think there is no brook ave in Toronto. will it be a problem? Do I need to inform anyone or Should I wait couple of weeks more?
