Please advice me. I had ordered CAIPS NOTES which show strange text S.15(1), what is this? I am done with medical in march 2012 and expecting for a PPR.

Hi Mr. Qorax,

I just received additional documents request wherein it is mentioned that-

New updated original police certificate for you and each of your dependants that is 18 years old or more from each country that you or your dependants have lived in for 6 months or more. If you already submitted police certificates with your application, you need to provide updated certificates for the countries that you and your dependants have lived in since the date you submitted your application. we require the following,
Principal applicant- Oman
Spouse/ common law partner- Oman

My question is should I provide Police clearance certificate only for oman or also for other countries where I have stayed more than 6 months??

Please answer immediately as I have only 15 days remaining.

Only Oman, They have clearly mentioned it

Dear All,

I have one question regarding the recent photo to submit along with original passport. Is it fine if I develop the photo (as per their specification) from the one I made it for medical in July mid? will it constitute the recent one if it is from 5 months back? For me it is not a big deal but my family is not here and I have to waste one more day to arrange it.

Pls guide me.

Hi sazzadkw,

I have the same timeline but they asked my updated Docs + PCC + RPRF after that there is no update... I sent them query last month they replied "your file is awaits review"..

What is your current status of file ? did you contact them why they didn't send medical ??

Thank you for your reply..

Hi Prav,
Photos taken in the past six months are acceptable as recent, so there is no harm in sending photos taken for Medicals but make sure to match specification as received in the PPR. Because face size for Medical photo is different then photo for visa stamping.

Congratulation for reaching at the final stage and all the very best for your future in Canada.

Our request for medicals was mailed to us by LVO postmarked on 19 September, and arrived to us in the UAE on 24 September. So less than a week in our case.

The LVO request for medical said that it takes 4 months to review incoming correspondence. And according to Qorax, after medicals are sent it usually takes 3-5 months to receive PPR. So that's in the same neighborhood.

Hope that's helpful.

Thank you for your inputs and thank you for your wishes friend.

You can go to Health Bay CLinic at JUmeirah Dr Rita, the nurses their are very polite and good, and you will get the appointment easily. There is no need to tell anything about hyper tension.

i also take medication for hypertension and i disclosed that to MO. i dont think there is any harm at all as i have not been rejected so far on medical grounds ;D
i think you should not hide it because if the MO finds out somehow, it might be a problem.
hypertension is not a reason for rejection unless you are being hired as an astronaut :D

YOU ARE ALWAYS WELCOME.. DEAR!! :)

Thanks NOOR Bhai for the compliments! ;)

@ friends who missed the get together and the opportunity to meet the Great Capt.

After the initial request to the Capt it was on the forum dangling for 3 days and ultimately, it was finalized during the 11th hour somehow. And it was organized while I was booking our Toronto tickets with 2 laptops and equal numbers of phones on speakerphones. I Texted/whatsapped/n wrote on the forum when I got the green signal from Capt Qorax. Wish I could be of more help. Some landed seniors could not make it because of their 'preoccupation'. :-X

Best Wishes to all the hopefuls, keep ur spirits high! Be positive and never loose faith, as God only tests your belief in His doings! 8)

Bestpal

Thanks to those who could make it and better luck next time to those who could not!
