I am March 2010 applicant from London visa office and I just received additional documents submission request (like Police clearance certificate from Previous country of stay, new photos and updated forms). How long it takes to get medical request after additional documents submission??

Dear all,
In my application i still carry my maiden's name...im planning to change it to my husband's name after landing in Canada...is it ok to ask the visa officer at point of entry to update my name with my husband's name for pr card and ill show our marriage cert? Or they will go with the corp? If the go with the corp? Is it ok after landing or receiving the pr card i'll request for change?

Anyone who has the same experience as mine, please share your experience thanks a lot in advance.

How you will come back to Dubai with out passport?

Well it was really a very short notice. I read only on Thursday evening that Captain and other members are meeting in MCC. And since I was having a dinner I couldnt have made it. Even if I knew in the morning, I would have come to say hello.

Anyways, no issues. will meet next time.

@friends who missed the get together and the opportunity to meet the Great Capt.

After the initial request to the Capt it was on the forum dangling for 3 days and ultimately, it was finalized during the 11th hour somehow. And it was organized while I was booking our Toronto tickets with 2 laptops and equal numbers of phones on speakerphones. I Texted/whatsapped/n wrote on the forum when I got the green signal from Capt Qorax. Wish I could be of more help. Some landed seniors could not make it because of their 'preoccupation'. :-X

Send JPG or PDF files of ur wife's New and cancelled PPs through 1) email by soft copies n 2) by courier/regd mail in hard copies-- but all this ASAP.

I just received additional documents request wherein it is mentioned that-

New updated original police certificate for you and each of your dependants that is 18 years old or more from each country that you or your dependants have lived in for 6 months or more. If you already submitted police certificates with your application, you need to provide updated certificates for the countries that you and your dependants have lived in since the date you submitted your application. we require the following,
Principal applicant- Oman
Spouse/ common law partner- Oman

My question is should I provide Police clearance certificate only for oman or also for other countries where I have stayed more than 6 months??

Please answer immediately as I have only 15 days remaining.
